Activities

On August 20-21, 2024, as part of the SlovakAid project called "Building Economic Resiliency of Communities Adjacent to the Occupation Line along Tskhinvali Region/South Ossetia in Georgia", the initiative "Supporting Local Producers: Donation of Packaging Machines for ABL Communities" was successfully implemented. During this activity, special cheese vacuum sealers and necessary packaging materials were delivered to the working zones of the villages Pkhvenisi, Nikozi, Agara, Knolevi, Chorchana, Kvenatkotsa, and Ruisi.

From August 6 - 13, 2024, the Project Monitoring Mission in the ABL Communities in Georgia took place, focusing on planning and assessing the next steps of the project. During this mission, our team visited the capital city of Tbilisi, areas near the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL), and future project activity sites, including the mountain resort of Gudauri, where the summer school will take place.

From June 24 to 25, 2024, the POINT Conference was held in Sarajevo, where our Executive Director, Alexandra Tóthová, was one of the panelists in the discussion panel titled "EU Elections – What Happened and Why."

On June 12, 2024, Strategic Analysis organized the fifth online webinar this year with our Young Leaders' Programme members. The discussion focused on the recent adoption of a UN resolution, establishing July 11 as the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide.

On May 7, 2024, Strategic Analysis organized the fourth online webinar this year with our Young Leaders' Programme members. The discussion focused on protests in Georgia against the law about media and NGOs. 

On April 15, 2024, our team Strategic Analysis Think Tank was part of the public discussion under the project “Supporting Decrease of Media Polarization in Georgia and V4 States.” At the concluding discussion researchers from Georgia, Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, and Hungary presented the findings of the joint report about media polarization in Georgia and V4 states.

From April 8th to April 12th, a Public Policy Design and Evaluation course took place in Yerevan. The course was led by our President and Founder, Mr. Jan Cingel. The activity is part of the project "Developing Public Servants’ Skills: Policy Design and Evaluation", supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
