From May 12 to 14, 2025, an international workshop titled “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance: Cross-Border Perspective through V4 Experience” took place in the Tavush region of Armenia. The event focused on sharing best practices in participatory governance between the Visegrad Four countries and Armenia.

Project Cooperation: Fostering Participatory Rural Governance(RA). Cross-Border Perspective through V4 experience exchange
The project seeks to address these challenges by strengthening democratic processes and encouraging citizen engagement in Armenia’s rural regions. The initiative focuses on building the capacity of administrative heads from Lori and Tavush regions, drawing on the expertise and best practices of V4 countries—Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia—in participatory governance.
Project Cooperation: Exploring V4 Experience for the EU-Armenia Cooperation
The project includes policy discussions with V4 experts and the preparation of a policy paper on EU-Armenia relations.
Project Cooperation: Developing public servants’ skills: policy design and evaluation
The project will deepen already established cooperation with policy experts in both Armenia and V4 states, let to develop the policy dialogue with Armenian state agencies, educational institutions and civil society organisations, and to collect information for adjusting future courses’ curricula to different state agencies’ specific needs.
