From May 12 to 14, 2025, an international workshop titled “Fostering Participatory Rural Governance: Cross-Border Perspective through V4 Experience” took place in the Tavush region of Armenia. The event focused on sharing best practices in participatory governance between the Visegrad Four countries and Armenia.

Slovakia was represented by Jan Cingel, President and Founder of Strategic Analysis, who presented Slovak experiences with citizens’ assemblies, youth councils, and participatory budgeting. He also led simulations where participants tackled real-life case studies.

The workshop was organized by Eurasia CPO in collaboration with partners from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with the support of the International Visegrad Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
