Further support of reforms in Armenia with Visegrad 4’s know-how

Our CEO – Jan Cingel,  participated in a series of activities organized by the Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) in Yerevan, Armenia within the project: „Further support of reforms in Armenia with Visegrad 4’s know-how“ implemented with the support of the International Visegrad Fund, where the Strategic Analysis Think Tank is a partner from Slovakia.

First, on November 21, 2022 he held a lecture entitled „Slovak Defence Policy in the Regional Context and in the Backdrop of Hybrid Threats“ for representatives of the Ministry of High Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, academia and think tanks. He also made an interview for the TV channel 1N.am about the perceptions of Slovakia and the EU of the situation in Armenia and in the South Caucasus region.

On November 22, 2022, he moderated a lecture by Mr. Rastislav Janota, Director of the National Cyber Security Center of the National Security Authority of the Slovak Republic entitled „Cybersecurity Governance in Slovakia with the Focus on Legislation and Practical Questions“.

Last but not least on November 22, 2022, he discussed with experts from Armenian think tanks the „Regional security issues: EaP prospects“organized by The Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs (AIISA). The main topics were the geopolitical reality after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and its impact on the security of Armenia and power dynamics in the South Caucasus region. They discussed also the upcoming CSTO/ODKB Summit that was to be held on November 23, 2022, in Yerevan.
