V4 for Youth Entrepreneurship in the Regions of Armenia

Our CEO, Ján Cingel, participated in the project, which reacts to the problem of the internal brain drain in Armenia regarding the youth that is leaving regions (marzes) for the capital – Yerevan. The project, implemented by the “Free Citizen” Civil Initiatives Support Center from Yerevan, Armenia, has the ambition to contribute to the improvement of living conditions and more opportunities for young people in marzes through developing their basic business skills, including in accounting, raising their awareness on the taxation and business regulations in Armenia, environment—recycling, waste management, waste clean-ups, European programs on business development, and motivating them for establishing their own start-ups.

The project activity was the Spring School for young entrepreneurs from regions of Armenia, which took place in Aghveran, Armenia, on April 24 – 30, 2023.

Strategic Analysis (Slovakia), Green Elephant Foundation (Poland), StartUpStart(Czechia) are the partners of the Project under the leadership of the “Free Citizen” Civil Initiatives Support Center (Armenia).

The project is financed by the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe and with its partners from the European Neighbourhood.
